I'm an experienced multimedia content creator who specializes in crafting engaging visual stories about science, health, and human interest. My professional joy and fulfillment comes from translating complex scientific concepts in accurate and accessible ways. 

A bit about me: I grew up in a rural Kentucky town before getting my undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Stanford University. I thought I wanted to be a medical doctor, but was always most interested in people's stories - and how telling those stories can impact, inform, and inspire. After serving as a Community Health Educator in Madagascar with the Peace Corps, I earned my graduate degree in Journalism from CUNY Graduate School of Journalism where I also gained technical skills in videography. After that, I worked for a time in the fast-paced world of national broadcast journalism with production roles at MSNBC, CBS Evening News, and 48 Hours. I finally landed at Yale School of Medicine where I am currently the Senior Video Producer. I love that this job allows me to combine my background in science/medicine with my passion for impactful storytelling.
